Move-In Rekeying
Start a new home or tenancy with a clear plan for who holds working keys. LockPro reviews your existing locks and coordinates a rekey once possession and authorization are confirmed.
REQUEST HOME SERVICE
Before possession day
Count the exterior cylinders and identify garage-to-house or separate-suite doors. Note whether you have working keys and when you are authorized to access the property.
Keep suitable hardware
Rekeying changes the working key while retaining compatible, serviceable hardware. Different keyways or damaged cylinders may require another approach.
Complete the key handover
Decide who receives new keys and review any shared-building access separately. A mechanical rekey does not revoke fobs, keypad codes or electronic credentials.
Questions about move-in rekeying.
Can this be planned before moving day?+
Yes. Send your intended possession date and lock count. Attendance is confirmed once access, availability and scope are agreed.
Can all doors use one key?+
Compatible cylinders may be keyed alike. The lock types and access requirements need assessment first.
